All necessary steps to prepare for casting dolls
Plaster, when it's set, is very porous. It draws moisture from liquid porcelain slip, and that's how porcelain hardens in the mold. You can use plaster molds with air-drying casting slips like "Flumo" or "Li-Qua-Che" as well.
All the technical information

Frequently asked questions
Is the class happening live?
No, all the information and videos are pre-recorded so you could learn at your own pace. We all have such different schedules! The ability to work on your BJD when you have time seemed like the best desicion to me.
Can I use Plaster molds to cast resin dolls?
Unfortunately, no. For resin dolls you need to make silicone molds. The technology behind plaster and silicone molds is very different, so the techniques I'm teaching in this course mostly can't be adapted to silicone mold making. You can use these molds with porcelain slip as well as self-hardening air-dry casting slips that don't require a kiln. For example Flumo or Li-Qua-Che.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE ACCESS TO THE COURSE?
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.

The class is based on step-by-step instructions with a few hundred pictures, technical lessons and videos that will show you the process up close. You can see a little snippet from one of the lessons here: “Preparing the master model”.
